The Anatomy Of The Trap

Belief through struggle.

Where does it come from?

When you’re tired of being in a place that resembles everything and everyone you never wanted.

How did they get there?

It—they—all became part of your habit and excitement you needed to overcome until you stopped believing in something better and felt empty without the misery.

And for the stubborn asses who say, "I never stopped believing!" you stopped focusing on a way out until you only saw a way to stay trapped.

Why do you think you’re struggling?

Was it a challenge? Or a change you didn’t want to face?

You tried to scheme and make up a different way. And blamed others when that hole you dug got deeper until it closed in on you.

You felt like nobody believed in you anymore and started to behave like you didn’t believe in yourself.

People don’t realize how easy it is to lose the better part of themselves. Or how easy it is to keep it.

It takes looking in the mirror. Seeing and believing what you’re allowing yourself, and life, to become.

And if you like what you see, improve it. If you don't, improve it.

Ask: Am I happy or satisfied when I go to sleep, wake up, or navigate my day? Can I be honest with people when I am talking, or am I trying to be someone I'm not for attention, or to hide my lack.

Yes, it sucks when everyone around you is focused on distractions and debauchery. And if you say “fuck ’em,” you believe it contributes to their fall.

When you hold everyone up for their benefit, you don't get the reward because they think you're robbing their fun.

Just step back. Say less. Do more to become a living reminder.

It’s less about saving yourself, or convincing others, and more about providing a blueprint to remember and execute potential.

This will help everyone eventually see. And remember the greatness to believe in.
